Introduction
In 2021, while working at Xenett, I had the opportunity to lead the redesign and development of the company’s website. Xenett is a SaaS platform created for accountants, bookkeepers, and accounting firms to automate workflows, improve accuracy, and collaborate more effectively with clients.
At that time, the website did not reflect the company’s innovative product. It faced design limitations, performance issues, and lacked the structure needed to drive strong conversions. Taking this as a challenge, I initiated and delivered a complete transformation of the site using Webflow.
The Challenge
The existing website had several gaps that affected both user experience and business outcomes:
Outdated design that didn’t match Xenett’s brand vision
Mobile speed and performance issues that reduced accessibility
Lack of flexibility for the team to update content
Limited SEO setup, making it difficult to reach new users
A landing page structure that did not effectively convert visitors
My Role & Approach
Although I was hired as a graphic designer, I decided to expand my skill set and take responsibility for the entire website revamp. This was my first major project in Webflow development, and it became a turning point in my professional journey.
Key Steps I Took:
Designed and tested five landing page iterations to refine the messaging, flow, and CTAs
Migrated the site from WordPress to Webflow, ensuring scalability, security, and design flexibility
Focused on mobile-first optimization to improve load times and responsiveness
Implemented a CMS system so the marketing team could update blogs and resources with ease
Applied SEO best practices, including metadata optimization, internal linking, and content structure improvements
The Results
After five to six months of design, development, and optimization, the new Xenett website was launched successfully. The improvements included:
A modern, responsive design aligned with the company’s innovative brand
Faster load times and a smoother browsing experience across devices
A conversion-focused landing page that improved visitor engagement
CMS integration, enabling effortless content updates by the team
Stronger SEO performance and increased visibility in search results
Reflection
This project was more than just a website launch. It marked the beginning of my journey from graphic design into web design and development. By taking ownership of Xenett’s website transformation, I learned how to combine design, development, optimization, and SEO into a complete digital solution.
Today, I apply the same approach to every project — creating websites that are not only visually appealing but also structured to perform, scale, and deliver results.
